Supporting education and local communities
Microcom considers education and community development an important part of its long-term commitment to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Through equipment donations, connectivity, educational support and community initiatives, we help create opportunities for young people and support organizations working to improve everyday life.
Helping young people access technology
To introduce younger generations to information and communication technologies, several schools and universities have benefited from donations of computer equipment and Internet-connected IT facilities.
With the objective of creating meaningful opportunities for young people, Microcom supports several preschools, primary schools and higher education institutions throughout the country.
A number of Congolese pupils and students have also received support from Microcom for school and university tuition fees.
